INFORMATIONAL CALL & iNTERVIEW
We’ll set up an intro conversation with a NEXT Coordinator so that you can get to know us and we can get to know you. Then we'll connect you with the Program Director for the host community of your choice for a more in-depth interview.
You'll be invited to submit completed health forms, a background check, and a passport copy.
At this point, you may be formally accepted as a Project TEN Israel volunteer and will be asked to submit a non-refundable $300 USD program deposit to hold your spot.
APPLY FOR MASA FUNDING
Once you’re fully confirmed on our end, you can apply for the grant and need-based funding from Masa Israel. We will provide you with all of the instructions you need to secure funding.
PAY PROGRAM BALANCE
The remainder of the program fee is due within three months of the program start date. If you are already within the 3-month period, the balance will be due within three weeks of acceptance. The balance payment is non-refundable.
Once we know exactly how much funding you will receive from Masa, we will know how much you will need to pay for the rest of the program. Typically, the cost is approximately $1,500 USD after the Masa grant (inclusive of deposit).
Since you’ll be in Israel for more than three months, you’ll need a special A-2 Visa which is easily obtained at your nearest Israeli embassy or consulate (no cost). We recommend starting the visa application process 60 days prior to your arrival in Israel.
