1
CHECK YOUR MASA ISRAEL ELIGIBILITY

If you intend to receive Masa Israel funding, take a moment to make sure you meet the basic criteria first:

  • Identify as Jewish
  • Not have Israeli citizenship OR if you do, you must have left Israel before the age of 14 and have lived outside of Israel for at least four consecutive years prior to receiving a Masa Israel grant or scholarship
  • Have not spent 4 consecutive months or longer in Israel within the 24-month period prior to the start of your program after the age of 18
2
REACH OUT TO US!

Fill out this interest form and schedule a short intro call with our staff to find out if the program is a good fit.

3
GET REGISTERED

You'll be invited to complete the official registration form, submit the program deposit, and upload the necessary documents.

4
MASA GRANT & REGISTRATION

We will provide you with all the instructions you need to secure the Masa grant. Expect to complete a basic medical background form and submit a background check

5
FINAL BALANCE

The balance of what you owe for the program is determined by the grant you receive from Masa. At this point we ask for your payment in full.

6
OBTAIN A VISA & BOOK YOUR FLIGHT
  • Book your flight
You’re responsible for booking your own flight and will need to send us your flight details.
  • Obtain your visa
Since you’ll be in Israel for more than three months, you’ll need a special A-2 Visa which is easily obtained at your nearest Israeli embassy or consulate (no cost). We recommend starting the visa application process 60 days prior to your arrival in Israel.

Detailed pre-trip preparation materials will be provided once the above steps are completed as you get set for the program.
